AmCham celebrates 15 years in Albania.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Albania celebrated its 15th Anniversary with its members, collaborators, representatives from the diplomatic corps, from international organizations, and from the Government. Deputy Prime Minister,  Mr. Peleshi, and the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Mr. Gent Sejko, attended the event and congratulated AmCham for its Anniversary.

In this anniversary ceremony, AmCham received congratulations from Minister Ahmetaj and the US Ambassador, Mr. Donald Lu. In his speech, Mr. Ahmetaj emphasized the role of collaboration between the government and business organizations and the continuous mutual dialogue in which they must engage. In his remarks, Ambassador Lu congratulated AmCham for its Anniversary and offered some advice that this “teenage” organization will find useful in overcoming the challenges of the future.

During the ceremony, AmCham honored with a special award “15-years Member of AmCham”, 26 companies which have been members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania since the first month of its establishment.
