It is with great pleasure that we announce Mr. Mullaj, as the new Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania. His experience and leadership will help continue our mission on supporting the business community while working with our members and partners for a better investment climate in Albania.
Neritan brings a wealth of experience with both private and public sectors and a unique knowledge of Albanian business community, competitiveness, economic growth and business advisory services. His experience includes international institutions such as the EBRD and World Bank, Public agencies including Ministry of Finance and Economy, Export Promotion Agency (now part of AIDA) and the private sector.
At EBRD, where he worked for more than 14 years, he managed the SME advisory unit team, where he provided services to help grow more than 850 Albanian SMEs, through connecting them to local consultants and international advisory services. His core expertise includes facilitation of practical business advice, consulting companies in access to finance, relationship building, networking and policy dialogue through business services. Neritan holds a University Diploma in Finance and MSc in Economics from the University of Reykjavik in Iceland.
