The committee’s aim is to continuously monitor and interact with Albania’s regulatory bodies related to their rules and practices. It aims to contribute to having an adequate legal framework, providing information and recommendations to relevant institutions and members. It informs and educates members on legislation-related developments in a timely manner, sending legal information on a quarterly basis. The committee also lobbies, raises awareness and drafts strategies on IPR-related issues. The Committee also covers public procurement processes and works closely with other committees.
Changes in legislation and regulations affect business operations, and the Regulatory, Legal and IPR Committee helps AmCham members with its expertise, providing not only up-to-date information but also avenues of dialogue and cooperation with all regulatory institutions implementing these changes.
The Regulatory, Legal and IPR Committee plays a key role in implementing the AmCham Investment Agenda through the institutional cooperation that is needed to implement the recommendations.
