Nxitja e investimeve amerikane, është objektivi themelor i Dhomave Amerikane në Europë dhe Rajon. Për t’i shërbyer këtij qëllimi AmCham Albania ka krijuar një Komitet të posaçëm për Investimet dhe Tregtinë, që synon të sjellë një impakt në indikatorët themelorë të klimës së investimeve përmes ekspertizës dhe kapacitetit të anëtarëve të saj. Mbledhja e parë e Komitetit pas zgjedhjeve për Kryetarin dhe grupin e punës, trajtoi pikërisht punën që duhet bërë për të ndikuar mbi kuadrin ligjor dhe rregullator si e vetmja rrugë për ta bërë vendin atraktiv për investimet amerikane dhe ato të huaja.
Kryetari i rizgjedhur i Komitetit z. Adrian Shehu drejtoi takimin i cili ishte një diskutim idesh mbi programin e Komitetit në përputhje me objektivin themelor të Dhomës por dhe dokumentave që drejtojnë veprimtarinë e saj, Axhendën e Investimeve dhe Indeksin e Biznesit. Komiteti ka prezantuar edhe dy nënkryetarët Grant Van Cleve dhe Rexhino Cekrezi të cilët do të ndihmojnë në kapacitetin e tyre duke diversifikuar njohuritë në shërbim të programit ambicioz të Komitetit.
Takimi pati prezencën edhe të Presidentit Enio Jaço dhe zv/Presidentes Edlira Muka që theksuan rëndësinë që ka ky Komitet për axhendën e Dhomës Amerikane dhe rolin që ka ndërmarrë organizata për të sjellë ndryshime pozitive që lehtësojnë aktivitetin e biznesit për investitorët vendas dhe të huaj. Drejtuesit e Dhomës sugjeruan se është me rëndësi për këtë Komitet të jenë të draftuara qartë jo vetëm objektivat por dhe strategjinë dhe planin e punës, për të bërë të mundur jo vetëm zbatimin por dhe për të matur rezultatet e saj.

Promoting American investments is the core objective of the American Chambers in Europe and the Region. To support this objective, AmCham Albania has established a Committee for Investments and Trade, which aims to bring an impact on the fundamental indicators of the investment climate through the expertise and capacity of its members. The Committee’s first meeting after the elections for the Chairman and the working group addressed precisely the work that needs to be done to influence the legal and regulatory framework as the only way to make the country attractive for American and foreign investments.
The re-elected Chairman of the Committee Mr. Adrian Shehu led the meeting, which was a brainstorming on the program of the Committee in compliance with the core objective of AmCham and the guideline of its activity, the Investment Agenda, and the Business Index. During the meeting were introduced the two elected vice chairs of the Committee, Grant Van Cleve and Rexhino Cekrezi, the capacity of whom will help to diversify the knowledge in the Committee to serve better the ambitious program.
Present in the meeting were also President Enio Jaço and Vice President Edlira Muka, who emphasized the importance of this Committee for the agenda of the American Chamber and the role undertaken by the organization to bring positive changes that facilitate business activity for local and foreign investors. The leaders of AmCham suggested that it is important for this Committee to have a defined draft of the objectives, strategy, and work plan, to make possible the implementation as well as to measure the results.
