Public debt rises since March – Government reports 66.7% of GDP, without correcting economic growth – Scan-tv.com
Public debt has returned to growth since the first quarter of the year. According to data from the Ministry of Finance, for the first three months of 2020 the public debt stock increased by 50 billion ALL and reached a total value of 1 trillion and 162 billion ALL or about 9.3 billion euros. Official statistics have also reflected growth in real indicators, although this increase is far from what is expected to be realistic.

The end of April is the last official deadline for all individuals who make an online declaration of their personal income, when they exceed 2 million ALL (DIVA-Individual Annual Declaration of Income). But, due to the situation created by the pandemic of COVID-19, the Ministry of Finance has postponed this deadline for the declarations of 2019.

Farmers will start applications within a month to benefit from the funds provided by the state budget as support for the agricultural sector through the National Scheme. Kompanitë më të mëdha në vend të prodhimit, eksportit dhe tregtimit, pohojnë se për shkak të krizës nga koronavirusi ndikimet, po ndihen edhe te punësimi dhe te pagesat e punonjësve. Kompania Balfin pohon se nuk ka asnjë shkurtim të vendeve të punës, por për më pak se 30% të punonjësve ka pasur një rishikim të përkohshëm të pagesave. Kompanitë call center, ndër punëdhënësit më të mëdhenj në vend, vazhdojnë me 20% të fuqisë punëtore në zyra, pjesa tjetër punojnë nga shtëpia.
