Construction works at East Gate Mall are going full speed ahead. One of the largest shopping and entertainment centers in the region is preparing for the fall season when it is expected to open its doors for the public in Skopje, North Macedonia.
The biggest competitive advantage of Skopje’s East Gate Mall as a modern multifunctional complex with an area of 57,000 m2, is the rich portfolio of shops, the variety of entertainment options and the offering of the best brands for every taste and budget, first time in the country or with their first store at East Gate Mall.
In the tenant mix aspect, East Gate Mall has carefully created the shops’ format, on one hand to meet the requirements of the subjects, but at the same time to be attractive to visitors. The main brands of East Gate Mall are well-known international retail chains that will attract a high number of visitors. Of course, various smaller store formats aim to refresh the offer, including pop-up stores, showrooms, flagship stores, kiosks and islands that represent flexible models, ready to adapt according to the needs of tenants.
“Central Boulevard” is the main promenade with beautiful shops and different brands that introduce their wide offer in the mall.
“Fashion Avenue”, will be dedicated to well-selected premium brands of haute couture for men and women.
“Central Square” offers supermarkets, ancillary services, home decor and technology stores – and this segmentation offers visitors a greater access to the content of their interest.
On the ground floor, visitors can enjoy the top ranked fast fashion brands and get acquainted with the premium brands that can be found on Fashion Avenue. Twinset, Patrizia Pepe, Armani Exchange and XYZ are some of the new names that will appear in Skopje East Gate Mall.
On the first floor, there are shops with clothing and sports equipment, shoes and accessories, children’s clothing, books and toys, clothing for teenagers and millennials, so that the target groups can easily find their ‘corner’.
East Gate Mall has begun to reveal which new brands will have their own “debut” performance on the Macedonian market. This included LPP’s five brands: Reserved, Mohito, House, Cropp, and Sinsay. Each brand is aimed at a different target group, offers a different style, and represents a different way of expression. Zara is opening the biggest store the region, covering an area of 4,000 m2 and introducing Zara Home for the first time in North Macedonia.
The Athlete’s Foot, Mango Man, Mango Kids, Sarajeva Steak House, Illy Espresso store, as well as Oyscho, Kiko Milano, Madame Coco, and many other brands will base their regional shops exclusively at East Gate Mall. The hypermarket operated by Tinex, which will cover an area of 2,000 m2, is one of the so-called “anchor” tenants that are renowned in the market, attracting a large number of buyers.
Due to the modern look of the center, a significant part of the brands will perform with the so-called “flagship units”, which means highly decorated stores with selected portfolio, and some of the brands will be presented with advanced formats that use “generation 4.0” technology, as well as the latest interior solutions in the architecture defined as “2021 edition”.
