Our discussion at the Atlantic Council focused on a simple but important reality: attracting investment is not only about asking for attention, it is about demonstrating value.
Albania is increasingly recognized as a stable and credible partner within the Western Balkans. Yet in a competitive global environment, every country must clearly show what it brings to the table.
The message was clear: Albania’s opportunity lies in positioning itself through strategic projects, regional connectivity, a growing private sector, and its role within a broader regional market rather than through its size alone.
There was also recognition that many Albanian businesses today operate according to international standards and are increasingly prepared to engage with global investors and partners.
The opportunity exists. The challenge is to continue proving, through results, competitiveness, and successful partnerships, why Albania deserves a place on the investment map.
