April 26th was the World Intellectual Property Day. Over the years, the American Chamber of Commerce has engaged, alongside relevant institutions, in establishing and developing the proper legal framework for intellectual property.
On the World Intellectual Property Day, we join forces with all international and local institutions to provide the business with the required safe space, in which creative ideas and innovations are developed, respected and protected.
This year the World Intellectual Property Day has essentially in its core the promotion of women’s role in innovation and creativity. Today more than ever distinguished women, who have brought about change and innovation over the years everywhere in the world, have the gratitude and respect of the entire business community for their engagement in this field. Brilliant, smart and challenging women who care for the business world, academia and creativity!
In respect of this contribution, through a Committee dedicated to them, the American Chamber pays the attention they so much deserve to women in business. It is not a coincidence that the Committees within the Chamber are mostly run by women, who themselves represent important businesses in the country.
On this day, we wish to take the opportunity to honor the driving and leading force of all those women, who with their courage, are bringing about change and shaping a better future for business, the economy and the country. Special respect goes today, to all our honored women members, who have supported us over the years. We truly thank you!
