Warehouse Management: A Step Toward Optimization and Competitiveness
IFC and the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania have organized the second module of the Move Up training program, focusing on Warehouse Management. The six-module program aims to strengthen the capacity of the business community by delivering targeted training that helps companies meet EU market standards and enhance their competitiveness.
This training provided participants with essential knowledge and practical skills on modern warehouse management strategies and practices, with the goal of optimizing operations, increasing efficiency, and improving inventory accuracy. In an increasingly competitive business environment, effective supply chain and logistics management is a key factor in ensuring company performance and sustainability.
During the sessions, trainer Adriana Palasan guided participants through a practical approach to warehouse management. Discussions focused on the functional design of warehouse spaces to improve workflow organization. The training followed warehouse processes step by step, offering concrete insights into product receiving, storage organization, inventory handling, order preparation, and dispatch procedures.
A key component of efficient warehouse operations is the integration of technology and IT applications, which play a crucial role in enhancing inventory accuracy, transparency, and traceability.
The second module further reinforced IFC and the American Chamber’s commitment to supporting Albanian businesses in adopting modern management standards, contributing to increased competitiveness and the sustainable development of the private sector.
