The third phase of the MoveUp training program, focused on Logistics Project Management and Control, where the businesses were guided towards practical knowledge and advanced methodologies for the efficient management of logistics projects.

The training program, in this module, targeted industry professionals, aiming to strengthen the skills and competitive capabilities required to operate in the European market, where competition is strong and standards are demanding.

Trainer Paul Nita focused on engaging with managers and business representatives from the logistics sector, introducing them to practical tools and methodologies for successfully managing logistics projects from planning and execution to monitoring and performance evaluation. Through practical examples, participants explored how to clearly define project objectives, manage resources effectively, and maintain control over project progress throughout the entire lifecycle, while also identifying and managing risks efficiently.

A significant part of the training was dedicated to the specific characteristics of logistics projects, which often require efficient coordination across supply chain links and multiple stakeholders. Participants analyzed different logistics strategies and discussed the advantages of project management approaches that emphasize flexibility and collaboration. In today’s increasingly dynamic work environments, adaptive project management approaches are essential, and trainer Paul Nita illustrated these through real-world examples.

Performance measurement was another key component of the training, with participants learning how to use key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess project outcomes and improve operational efficiency. Risk management strategies were also addressed, helping businesses identify potential risks and implement timely preventive measures. In addition to technical skills, the training highlighted the importance of effective communication and coordination within logistics teams, both internally and with partners and clients. Participants also discussed leadership and communication skills, which are essential for project managers operating in competitive environments.

The MoveUp program, implemented in Albania by IFC and the American Chamber, has entered an important phase and continues to highlight key leadership, digital, and operational competencies, contributing to increased efficiency and sustainability in the logistics and supply chain management sector.
