Within the framework of the Move Up Program, IFC and AmCham Albania organized the second round of training sessions under the module of “Principles of Supply Chain Management.” The online training, held on January 27–28, attracted strong interest from employees of companies operating in the logistics and supply chain sector.
During the online sessions, trainer Andrea Mureșeanu expanded the scope of knowledge by addressing key supply chain elements that enable companies in the sector to reduce costs and increase responsiveness to customer needs. The training also included practical insights into the factors influencing supply chain efficiency and sustainability. Ms. Mureșeanu highlighted how supplier diversification and careful capacity planning help minimize disruptions and ensure operational continuity. Emphasis was placed on risk identification and the development of contingency plans, equipping logistics and supply chain companies to better manage crises and strengthen supply chain resilience.
Participants followed the training with great interest, as it provided comprehensive and practical information essential for navigating and competing in the European Union market, where competition is strong and regulatory compliance is critical.
The training program will continue in the coming months with the delivery of five more modules, aimed at strengthening leadership, digital, and operational skills to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability in the logistics and supply chain management sector.
