U.S. Chamber of Commerce & AmChams

The American Chamber of Commerce in Albania was accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, USA, in June 2003. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business organization representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions. Their membership ranges from small businesses and local chambers to leading industry associations and large corporations. The Chamber also accredits the American Chambers of Commerce (AmChams) all around the world. AmChams are independent, non-governmental business associations formed to advance the interests and views of U.S. business overseas, to uphold the highest standards of commercial practice, and to interpret the point of view of other countries to the American business public. Through AmChams, business people of the United States and host countries come together and promote their mutual interests.
