AmCham celebrates the 243rd anniversary of the Independence Day of the United States of America
AmCham Albania has celebrated the Independence Day of the United States of America in the company of 850 guests. Among the participants present, were members of AmCham and the U.S. community to Albania. A live band, musical show, decorations and typical American food were the elements that accompanied the celebrations of the most important day in the history of America. The new Executive Director of AmCham, Mr. Ilir Trimi expressed his gratitude for being able to kick-start the event and thanked all the guests for being part of the celebration.
The President of AmCham, Mr. Enio Jaco, greeted the guests and commended the spirit of the celebration and the powerful message the event helped to deliver. “We bring together the Albanian and American community united by the values of freedom and the spirit of entrepreneurship” – said Mr. Jaco on his speech.
The opening remarks concluded with the greeting of Charge d ‘Affair, Mrs. Leyla Moses-Ones. Mrs. Moses-Ones expressed her appreciation of the cooperation between the U.S. Embassy and the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania. In addition, Mrs. Moses-Ones stated that Albania and the United States have a strong friendship and are working together to build a more favorable business climate for investments in Albania. Ms. Moses-Ones stated that Judicial Reform is a key component towards this effort.
The celebration continued under the company of live music, games, entertainment and the eventual majestic firework show.
