The Committees of the American Chamber have started the year by defining their priorities and drafting their action plans, making 2026 an intensive year with a clear and structured agenda. All Committees have built on their respective areas of focus to identify core priorities, which will subsequently shape their annual calendar of activities and events. In line with the American Chamber\u2019s overarching policy framework, all Committees have oriented their advocacy efforts toward improving business climate indicators, placing member interests at the center of their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tax legislation and its implementation, as well as member training on new fiscal laws, constitute the main focus of one of AmCham\u2019s most active committees, the Tax Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The legal framework for investments, the public consultation process, and the preparation of businesses for Albania\u2019s European Union integration process are among the key priorities of the Legal Committee. This positions the Committee as a crucial stakeholder in supporting sustainable business development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equally important are labor market challenges and the preparation of a skilled professional workforce for priority sectors. In these areas, the Labor Committee is working closely with both public and private stakeholders. Digitalization and the legal infrastructure supporting it have engaged the members of the Digital Business Committee, who are now also collaborating with the young professionals leading the Innovation Committee, with the aim of further developing key topics related to technology and innovation in business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
