The Albanian Parliament today approved in a plenary session the law on\npostponing the prepayment of profit tax installments in September 2021 and the\nloan of 174 million euros that the IMF gave to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in March showed that most\nAlbanian businesses were unprepared for e-commerce. According to the Institute\nof Statistics, last year only 5.8% of Albanian businesses sold online, a level\nalmost the same as in 2018. On May 29, applications were officially opened for farmers who want to\nbenefit from the funds made available for financing the agricultural and\nlivestock sector. Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced the winner of a tender to\nconstruct a 140MW photovoltaic park in southern Albania, worth EUR 100 million.\nFrench renewable energy\ncompany Voltalia<\/a> will be\nresponsible for what is expected to be the biggest solar park in the Western\nBalkans, covering 198 hectares.
