Improving the business climate in the country as a key\naspect in attracting foreign investment but also encouraging local ones remains\none of the challenges of the economy. As one of the lobbying institutions of\nthis improvement, the Investment Council, according to the impressions it\nreceives from surveys with business, makes also concrete recommendations that\nserve this purpose. But it seems that in 2019, a good part of the\nrecommendations has fallen on deaf ears. First, at least 44 percent of the\nrecommendations have not been implemented, 19 percent remain in process and 37\npercent have been implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a letter to the Prime Minister, the Albanian Tourist\nUnion appealed to the government to look into the possibility of easing\nrestrictions on movement to help the tourism industry. According to the Union,\nthe non-opening of beaches and the closure of regional borders for land\nmovement is a problem that needs to be looked at carefully and followed by\nneighboring measures, where Greece has already opened beaches from May 4 and\nMontenegro is preparing for May 18.
