The common\ncurrency has continued the downward trend even today in the domestic market.\nAccording to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the week opened\ntoday with the euro being exchanged at 125.44 lek, with a strong decline of 1.1\nlek, compared to the end of last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bank of\nAlbania has sent a 7-step instruction to banks on how the credit restructuring\nprocess will be carried out. This instruction came in support of the joint\norder of March 17 of the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, and the\nPrime Minister Edi Rama, to extend the deadline for payment of loan\ninstallments for businesses and individuals, who will face difficulties in this\nperiod as a result of COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime Minister Rama said that from the\nmiddle of the month, some other businesses will return to their business activities.\nThe Prime Minister said that the fish trading shops will start working. As for\ntaxicabs, the Prime Minister stressed that this businesses will continue to\nstay closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
